1 tablespoon olive oil

4 tablespoons unsalted butter divided (1/2 stick)

1 pound Yukon gold potatoes diced into 1/2 inch cubes.


How To Prepare Steak and Potatoes

1. A cast shallow iron pan should be heated  over medium-high heat. Then olive oil and 2 tablespoons of the butter should be added. Allow the butter melt totally 


2. The cut potatoes, rosemary, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper should then be added. Cook for roughly 4 minutes without disturbing. Stir and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until fork tender. Remove the potatoes from the pan and keep aside in a bowl.


3. Return the shallow iron pan to the stove and increase the heat to high. 2 tablespoons of butter should be added and stir to melt. Add the steak bites in a single layer and cook for 1 minute. Flip and stir the steak for additional 1-2 minutes, or until desired readiness. Remove the shallow iron pan from the heat.


4. The cooked potatoes should be added back to the shallow iron pan and toss together. Add more salt and pepper if desired.


5. You can top it with fresh chopped parsley if you desire. Serve and enjoy.
